Inteview(s) tomorrow

So, tomorrow I've got an interview at the job I'm already interim-ing at (finally). The interview is at 4:00pm. I think I've got a pretty good shot at it.
I'm hedging my bets, though. I've got an interview with their main competition (across the street) 3 hours before.
Here's to hoping someone gives me a job...

If only it were this easy:

Did you try showing them your butt?

Maybe that would be as impressive as this young lady's decollatage?

If I ever decide to go on two job interviews in one day, someone slap the shit out of me.

Jesus, I'm tired. And since it's Thursday, not Friday, I can't drink myself some relief.

Damn early-ass middle school jazz band rehearsals. I learned a long time ago that the worst thing you can do the night before you teach MS band is get drunk.

Hangovers and MS Band don't mix. EVAR!

Dude, tell me about the tired. right now I'm sitting at 3 weeks without a day that I haven't been at Century II. I was supposed to get time off this wek but the other guy in the office got sick, so if I don't go the office is shut down.

Maybe if your boobs were bigger, you'd get more cooperation...

So, I find out today that I gave a "very passionate interview," and that "I obviously care about the students and department as a whole," and that "I am an excellent conductor with knowledge beyond my years," but they want me to take the 18th off because the guy who's been the drumline coach all year wants the gig and they want to watch him teach the classes.

Frustrated. Anxiety. Bleah. Of course, I still may have to come in on that day off because one of my administrators wasn't at my interview and would still like to talk with me. And of course, this day off they graciously given me (where this guy is going to jack with the way I've been teaching my students) is when she has free time.

Frustrad. Anxiety. Bleah.

it's going to be alright. a drummer can't get your job, because everyone knows drummers *don't* have jobs. it's part of their quality as a human being, they are jobless and must sponge off of their girlfriends.

Dude, there's a big jump between being able to teach drums and being able to teach every instrument in the band.
